Do have to be able to back bend to back hand spring? or dose it just help you out alot being able to do one?

i cant backbend and i am trying to learn a backhand spring. i cant keep my head straight.. and my arms keep being weak.. idk if its just fear. and i cant backbend well they suck XP help me :o!! im not fat or anythng. i acutally work out and kick box. idk im really stiff tho lol

Well. i do gymnastics myself and I'm a little past ur level so i would know. and doing a back bend would really ...REALLY help alot. it stretches ur muscles which makes it easier to bend and use ur strengh to jump backwards. Well....theres your answer! so work on ur back bend first and give some times to learn from ur back bend how to keep ur head in and keep ur arms straight!
