MX Riding Boots for bigger calves/legs?

Rubber riding boots (english horse riding) too embarrasing?

  • I have a pair of jodhpur boots and half chaps,and it rains quite a bit down here, so the ground gets VERY muddy so i wear wellies when im not riding and change my boots when i ride. And tbh i hate having to change my boots every five minutes, especially when its cold and rainy, so im thinking of getting some rubber long boots (for normal riding NOT shows) cos there cheap n chearful AND would solve my problem..BUT loads of people talk bout them lyk there really embarrasing to wear, n they use to have them when they wer little...okkk i had them too when i was lyk 4, but havent worn them since... r they too embarrasing..????

    There is nothing embarrassing about them! Yeah, I had them too when I was little but when it's rainy all the time they serve a dual purpose. I think it's a very practical thing to ride in them. If you are just around the barn riding in them there isn't a reason you should be embarrassed.

WHO CARES ABOUT PEOPLE! If people gossip about you it just shows you wat kind of pigs they are.Wearing thoes kind of shoes on a horrible muddy weather doesn't matter. I mean ur luckyyy u can spend ur time with horsesss ^.^ yay P.S if people will cause u any trouble call meh and i will GLADLY kick their *** ^.^

WOW! who gives a crap about ppl? I WEAR RUBBER BOOTS EVERY TIME I GO 2 THE BARN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love them and there wonderful;) plus there not the ones changin their boots every 2 seconds. and if they did make fun of you I would tell them 2 KISS MY COUNTRY *** :D

You'd be better off not worrying about what you are wearing so long as they are safe and functional. I always wear long rubber boots when riding.

if ppl were you ride dont usually wear rubber boots, then dont do it, youll be embaressed and self concious.
