What are u doing on thanksgiving?

If Queen Elizabeth were to ever celebrate Thanksgiving in the U.S.,what do you suppose she'd like to eat?

  • Would she prefer duck over regular boring turkey? Or even better~would QE just bring along one of her birds she hunted down and shot during hunting our amongst the castle grounds that her and maybe her grandsons blasted away?

    The Queen is quite careful about what she eats when she travels. I believe I read somewhere she even brings her own water. Prior to a visit from her, her staff always sends the host a list of what she will and will not eat.

My dear young man (you really should get your hair cut,you know) Her Majesty munches on Turkey at Christmas and celebrates thanksgiving with a traditional hotdog with good,hearty ENGLISH mustard,none of that french or american,so called mustard,that appears to have been recently scraped from the inside of a baby's nappy.

Another poster who gave the impression she had personal knowledge about Queen Elizabeth II stated that Her Majesty had a good appetite and liked trying food. So, I would guess if she was celebrating American thanksgiving for the first time, then she would go the whole hog and have the corn and turkey and trimmings. If a pheasant was shot in England I doubt very much she would take it to America to celebrate this imaginary first Thanksgiving

I believe the first Thanksgiving was celebrated by Englishmen and women !

Turkey is a popular food on British holidays. The royal family has turkey for Christmas lunch as do most Brits. I'm sure she'd be good with turkey.

No. She would eat Turkey. The upper orders are for nothing if not tradition. It's the upper-middles and nouveau that would seek to stand out by doing something different (something well-bred people do not do).
