Is child benifit and tax credit the same?

Can you receive child benifit and child tax credit for a child who is 16 at college 3 days a week on e.m.a?

• im a parent who has a child who is 16. she goes colledge 3 days a week.she now claims e.m.a and gets 30 a week. should i still receive child benefits and child tax credits for her?
