Can you get an out of office reply on a mobile phone?

Why do I never get a phone call back from tax credits head office?

• I have put in a change of details on my child tax claim as we have had our niece placed in our care. After sending in birth certificates and all other details requested we are still waiting on a decision. This has been going on for around 6 weeks now and after numerous phonecalls we are getting no where. Left messages on head office number and they never phone back within 48 hours, keep getting told from helpline that its still being processed. So 6 weeks later we are still waiting on money for our niece, we are both unemployed and currently claim for our other 3 children. Can anyone explain why we never get a phoncall back or even give me another number for the head office. Severely fed up and getting annoyed.

  remember that everyone is updating or re-newing at this time so i would imagine that they are really busy.i never heard of them calling back or replying to a personal letter.if you have told them about your changes etc then you will get back pay or everything that is owed to you soon,also, remember what you get this year from the tax credits is what you earned from april 2009 to april 2010 so you might not get to see the affect from your changes till later this year.good luck.
