Why isn't Yahoo chat working?

Is anyone elses Yahoo Zync Video Share not working?

  • probably about 3 or 4 days ago i was trying to show a friend a video with the yahoo Zync Video share and for some reason the video wont load. For the next few days after that we kept on trying at random times of the day to see if it would work. It still isnt working. We tried to Redownload Yahoo Chat and it still wont work. Nothing is wrong with our computers. Whats going on?

    I've been pulling my hair out with the same problem. I'm in a long distance relationship and me and my girl liked watching movies and videos via Zync. Now all it does is what I call the Pale Screen of death, where there's just a mili-second of something and then the window goes pale and says "loading" but nothing ever loads. I have no idea what's up with this. Did you know that Zync is a sort of prototype from Berkley University? Maybe not enough people are using it, so they're getting rid of it, or maybe they're installing something that regulates what you can watch and what you can't watch, who knows? All I know is that it's one of the only sources of entertainment that me and my girl have and I MISS OUR GOD DAMN MOVIE NIGHTS!! Anyway..that's my 2 cents. YOU ARE NOT ALONE, LOL. We're in this pickle together, guys. I think we should amass and report this to Yahoo administraters. We need a damn answer.

You are not alone. We have been trying for days now. This plug-in worked fine and was great to use and we've been encountering endless problems. We keep downloading "newer and better" versions of Messenger and re-loading Zync with the same bug appearing. Everytime we try to report the problem no reply is given. Why is this problem being ignored?

Same problem here... Was working 100% normal for about 20 days.. but suddenly it died ;/ Please fix it. Imo this is the best plug-in messenger has and i really like it , can it be fixed??? For the previous answer i really hope you relationship doesn't depend on this!!! Good luck! :D

I don't have an answer either. Its me exactly the same thing for me and my sister. We love it, and then it just randomly died on us. Does yours say the video is loaded and then it goes grey?

Same problem here. Yahoo had better fix it ASAP, as no other messenger has this feature
