How does airplane WiFi work?
-
I just booked a flight, and the internet says the plane has wifi. Do you have to pay for it? Or how does it work? Thanks.

Answer:
depends on the airline, but when you check in, you can probably ask to buy a pass code for in flight WiFi that should be good for the duration of the flight... an airline might have free WiFi but is doubt it.

You will pay. They don't give you anything for free. This is what Delta uses on its domestic flights. http://www.delta.com/traveling_checkin/inflight_services/products/wi-fi.jsp https://www.gogoinflight.com/gogo/register.do;jsessionid=F5B576C5A3EBCEB40D66FB2ED4C9E4FD.node2?execution=e1s1
