How do I train for swimming without water?

  • I like to become a strong swimmer but have not swam for over 15 years. I'm planning to join a fitness club with a pool, but until I do, are there any non-aquatic exercises I can do to train?

    as an avid swimmer, running as well as exercises to increase upper body strength are needed to perform well in the water. remember, you want muscle!!
