Can you tube the broad river?

Where can I float the river in a tube near Pittsburgh?

• I'm looking for a place where I can float down the river in a tube and bring a cooler of beer. Where you start at one point then they pick you up at another spot.

  Hazelbaker's is an outfitter who rents kayaks, canoes and rafts for float trips on the flatwater section of the Youghiogheny, less than hour southeast of the city. You park at their rental center and then they drive you and the boats upstream and you float back to their place along the river. Even on a lazy creek like the Yough you can get in trouble paddling if you don't have your wits about you.
