How do you figure out what your IP Address is?

How do I figure out if someone has hacked my computer? What does the IP address mean how do you find someones?

• I have been turning off my computer each day before work. I have my passwords saved and what not on my computer but my computer for the last two night has been asking me to put everything in again. Weird I check the boxes to remember me. Wtf? If someone hacked me how do I check and if someone knows my IP address what can they do to my computer? How do you find someones IP address? And what is it?

  ok well, a checked box is nothing to worry about, if your background changes, your icons move, new documents pop up on your desk top arrive THEN you freak out, if your not on your cpu then turn it off. If you don't have an anti-virus then get on, if you need to buy one, do it, most free, notice i said most some are safe, most are just " trials" or a virus, and free ones suck. If you buy one get Vipre, i have it, works great. Oh and if your passwords are in folders or actually SAVED in your computer, then delete them , if you are being hacked they WILL find that folder and then your screwed, if its just a check box its nothing, remember the first thing i said, then you freak out...
