What Is My Ip Location?

How do I hide my location/IP Adress, without having to purchase "anonymizer" Proxy software?

  • I live in Mexico but I speak English. Many portals, like Google and lots of others, "by default" send me to a Spanish language version of the page I want in English, because their server "detects" my geographical location, either by my IP address (obviously from a Mexican IP provider) or my keyboard configuration (Spanish language, because my Spanish keyboard has to be configured in Spanish, otherwise it won't work). Please pardon my French, but I wonder which stupid bonehead came up with the idiotic idea of automatically sending people to a page in a language corresponding to either their IP location, and/or the keyboard language configuration. That makes no sense. ONE HAS TO DECIDE BY ONESELF WHICH LANGUAGE TO CHOOSE WHEN SURFING THE WEB, and not be forced to read in an unwanted language, because the chosen website supposedly "detects" one's language, by the computer settings. What a stupid thing. Any help to solve this very annoying issue, will be GREATLY appreciated. Charles O
