I've trouble with Microsoft security essential software?

• Hi, I had downloaded the microsoft security essential few months back. It was working fine till few days ago. I've trouble turning it on. In notification bar, there is a red flag that shows that my security essential is off. I searched all available option to turn it on but it is not there. I've done following things: - searched for microsoft security essential in my computer to turn it on, but it is not there in the program. It is there when I searched in uninstall program in control panel. I don't know where to find it. - I turned off the microsoft defender, though security essential is not working. - I tried to find answers everywhere on Microsoft site and google search but no help. I don't know how to turn on the security essential on making microsoft defender off. I'm not able to find the security essential program in my computer even though it is there. When I try to install it again, it tells, it is already there!! Try to unintall, it rejects saying, turn the computer off and try again. Also, When I click on the notification flag to find the security soft were, it shows two softwares 1. Defender 2. Microsoft security essential. I can turn on the defender but it doesn't give me the option to turn on the essential. I'm totally fed up with this run around. I don't know what to do...Please help with this.   i think your pc is infected install free malwarebytes update it and perform full scan or reinstall your os only use one antivirus Eset is recommended.
