  Depending on how full you want your lashes, use sissors to best fit them to your lashes to make them appear natural. Then use a toothpick to apply the glue to the faux lash. Make sure that you evenly spread the glue and not too much. (you don't want glue in your eyes.) press the faux lash to rhe lining of you lashes. (or where your lash starts.) While lashes are sill damp, becareful and use the toothpick to move the lashes down evenly to create the alusion of a perfect lash. ( if apply in secions repeat the steps.) make sure you have time on your hands and take your time. Wait about 5 mins so the glue can dry. I would use a liquid eyeliner instead of a pencil to line the eyes. if you use a pencil, it'll cake up around the faux lash and cling to them, and could lift the lash or loosen the lash if applyed to heavy or if the pencil is dull. Using the liquid liner will create a smooth finsh. For a dramatic look use a thick line and Black liner. for a softer daytime look use a sable or a brown black and use thin lines. in case of an uneven look wait till the liner dryes and use a q-tip dipped in eye make-up remover or vasiline to remove flaw. Oh yeah apply 1-2 coats of masacara for a perfect finish. your short lashes have nothing to do with what ever you said it was.
