How large are the typical gallstones?

Gallstones possible since c-section?

  • Gallstones? Possible gallstones? I had my gallbladder removed 3 years ago, I recently began to have pain exactly were my gallbladder was removed, and having the same kind of symptoms like pain under my right breast area and under my right arm and shoulder and through my back! I was wandering if this could be gallstones from the liver producing them or maybe a clogged bile duct? Just wandering if anyone else has experienced this the pain is very bad like my gallbladder is still there but it is not. Treatment options and symptoms of gallstones? I know that you can still get the gallstones even without a gall bladder as the liver still produces the bile salts and sends them down to the duodenum. While the bile salts pass through the ducts, they can crystallize and form gallstones in the ducts and cause inflammations and infections.

  • Answer:

Yes it is possible. Try talking to your doctor. They can tell you more. I know I still have some problems with mine even though it has been out for 8 years. They can do an ultrasound to check. It could also be a blood clot in your lung so make sure you see someone soon. Good luck
