What does Metformin do for infertility?

3rd month of clomid 150mg with metformin twice a day, anyone else have trouble on this high dose?

  • this is my 3rd cycle of clomid but first month of adding in the metformin. my period completely stopped altogether about 7 months ago fo course right before we wanted ttc. just wondering if any other ladies have problems and what theyve done. dr cant explain it just calls it unexplained infertility, im healthy 26 yr old with a 3 yr old daughter. today is cd 15 and have been having slight pain/pressure around my ovaries for last few days. last night i had very sharp pain on left side but lasted seconds, could that have finally been me ovulating? ive been doing opks and think i got a positive yesterday but not getting my hopes up
