Best hours to sleep?

( Points for best answer ) why wont My body let me sleep longer then three hours at a time ?

  • I wake up like every two to three hours for No reason, I usually go back to sleep.. But no matter what my body wakes me up after two or three hours, why is it doing that, it aggravates me, there's no noise disturbances that would be causing me to wake up, is there something that causes this ?? It's the first time an it's been happening the last 3 nights

  • Answer:

Well, for a baby the answer usually is they don't know how to fall asleep without a sleep crutch, so need to be rocked, nursed etc. between every REM cycle. For an adult a more likely reason is sleep apnia. You are unable to breathe while sleeping, and your brain makes you wake up before you suffocate and die. This is more likely to occur in obese people.

This is because of your biological clock. Everyone has a biological clock which works according to their daily pattern of work. You wake up in 3hours because you would have kept your alarm to ring 3h after sleep for a emergency or very important reason like to study for tommorow's exam (on first day). So now your biological clock has moulded ur sleeping time up to 3h. A simple example is : when it becomes noon 1.30 p.m , you automatically feel hungry .
