Immigration question ... Joining the military to get citizenship faster !?

I am 18 years old Female Born Canadian citizen Will finish highschool when I am 21 years old (yes i am way behind) GOAL: To become an USA citizen To get a 4 year degree from a USA university Apple to become an FBI agent I heard that by joining the Military I can get citizenship much faster - Is this true ?? I also heard that in order for me to join the USA Military I would need a green card ?? When you are in the Military ... Are you able to study in University ? Do they pay for your university ? What is the minumim amount of time I would have to stay in the Military to reap these benefits ?? I need all the information I can get, but I do not want to search the internet just yet, it's too confusing. So anything you know about this would help. Also please don't criticize my choice of leaving Canada or joining FBI instead of just RCMP or something it's really not your concern .. just answer my questions if you can, please. ;) Merci !!

As you do NOT appear to have any reasons to be issued a green card then the rest of what you write is a moot point. You can go to college over here on a student visa BUT you pay for this and have to prove you can afford to pay, PLUS you can not alter a student visa to another sort............. Without said green card you will NOT be going into the US military.............

They don't let you join the military till you have a green card. Which by that time, you could get citizenship without service.

Military don't sponsor foreign citizens to join the military. Lots of 18 year old watch tv and want to be in the FBI.
