Can a 5x10 trailer fit an 450cc atv and 250cc motorcycle?

With a narrow motorcycle trailer, will it tip over with a bike on it?

• I am driving cross country (michigan to california) and i will be towing my motorcycle (250cc) with a 7ft long by 2.5ft wide trailer. I bought it cause it was a strong light weight aluminum. With my 300lbs bike on it strapped down, I am nervous it will tip over easily. Any experiences or thoughts?

  Experience? Sure. I've never seen such a narrow trailer, even a small motorcycle/ATV/sailboat trailer. If you are nervous, lash a dummy motorcycle to the trailer and then see how fast you can take a turn with your dummy bike. Thoughts? A few. I've driven across country twice, right coast to left coast and back to the right coast. Interstate driving is not a slalom. It's about cruising in a straight line, wondering if you will pass the truck in the number three lane easier if you stay in the number two lane or should you go into the number one lane. It's about small changes in speed, maybe a lane change to go a bit faster or to slow down. Comment- If you're nervous, sell this trailer and buy a wider one. The trip is too long to keep fretting and looking in the mirror to make sure nothing's tipped over. ... Take care!
