What are the newest effects for digital photos?

Vintage effects on photoshop/photos?

• I have been trying to replicate this effect but fail at it many times. How does the person I have linked to get their photos to have that vintage effect. I have played around with the gradient map, levels, curves, contrast, and many other things on photoshop but the results I get don't look as good as those photos.   Actually, yes that person IS shooting with film. If you look at the tags in some of their pictures, it even says "35mm" and "Zenit" Zenit is a kind of camera. And apparently, they're using 35mm film What made you think they're weren't using film? Also, some of the pictures have the "warm" tone which is more distinctive of film. Not all films are the same (each kind of film has its own unique characteristics). But in general, film tends to have a warmer tone and more saturated colors, whereas digital cameras tend to have a colder tone and less dynamic range. (Digital cameras get overexposed easily and tend to give washed out colors) There's nothing "vintage" about those pictures. It's just that they were taken with film. And people who have only ever used point and shoot digital cameras (like you, apparently) have forgotten what good pictures with good color actually looks like!
