Whats the best way to get my itunes music to my av receiver.?

i have an airport express which sounds great with no interference. i also have a 75' 3.5mm to rca which i plugged in directly to my cd input on my receiver and it sounds horrible. if i were to hook up a new digital sound card would that be better or stick with air port express

Try the digital sound card but it if that does not work buy higher quality cables to connect up to the airport express

I tried the same thing with the RCAs, and it sounded like garbage. A digital coaxial cable from the sound card's digital output, to the A/V receiver's digital input, will eliminate all of the interference and sound great. I bought my D Coax cable (a 25 ft run) from these guys... http://www.bluejeanscable.com/ Great prices. No hassles at all.
