  • 2.1 speakers problem. On the back side of the woofer there are two pins in which left speaker and right speaker jack are present. Among them only the left speaker is working and another was not working. I interchanged the speaker pins and inserted (interchanged them) and now the speakers which was not giving out any sound gives sound and the one which was giving sound stopped working. So I think the problem is in the board which opens its jacks on the back side of the woofer. But there is a small mouse like thing to control the sound , when I twist them like a hair plait both speakers gives sound for few minutes, but when the twist returns back to its original position only one speaker works. I am having Xfree company speakers( formerly a part of Creative company). Its just 2 years old. Please help me.

  • Answer:

After straining my brain to makes sense out of you question, I understand that you have a defective or broken potentiometer(volume knob). Either that or there is a break in the circuit somewhere, which "reconnects" when turning the volume up. I had a similar problem with a dirty contact on one of my relay switched, speaker outputs on a NAD amplifier.
