Are there any RCA or S-Video cables that allow you to play PSP games on your tv?
-
I have an old tv with no composite imputs. But I have the rca/ s-video imputs. So, are there any cables that would let me do this? I've read a lot of stuff that says that some cables will only let you watch your videos and listen to your music on your tv (from your psp). But, like I said, I', looking for a cable that will also let me play games on my tv. Arigato!

Answer:
I have a PSP-3000 and bought the AV cable (not the composite, but the one with one yellow video plug and 2 audio plug, red and white) from Best Buy today. The movies works great, and the games work although the window is a bit smaller than the TV, but it is totally playable. Note: on the box it said for PSP 2000 only, but works fine on my PSP 3000

A PSP doesn't have a video output setting or port, so it would be hard to do this. I'm not saying this is impossible, but if you were to modify your PSP, perhaps you could make it possible.
they call it PS2.

If you have one of the older PSPs, then it can do RCA composite video. If your TV doesn't have a spare composite video port, but has a s-video port, you can get a AV switch that will convert from composite video to s-video (though the picture won't be any better.) If you have one of the current slim PSPs, those only support component video (3 RCA connections) There is no real good way to convert from component to composite or S-video without spending more money than what the PSP costs in the first place.

PSPs came with cords or teh ability to connect a cord(usually a small single phono type plug for output) and teh other end had the 3 cables for vidoe and 2 audio, The RCA inputs you speak of are composite. I think you confused tehm with the component ( 3 video) Not sure if allows only video playback or games as well. PS The reason the cable works with the 3000 model as well as the 2000 model is because at the time the cable was produced, the 3000s were not out yet. That cable will not work with models made prior to the 2000s
