What's the best way to record shows on Comcast?

Comcast DVR recordings that filled my menu?

• So on my comcast DVR i went to record a show last thursday and did not check it until last night and noticed that my once 25 % full recordings is now 98% full and the show i wanted to record record for 125 min but it also recorded and filled the enitre DVR menu with 1 min recordings of this show and i have spent about 3 hours so far trying to delete everything so that i can scroll to the bottom of my menu cause that is where the Shows i want to watch are. So basically i am asking if there is a way to delete multiple items in my DVR menu i want to just delete all recordings of this one show. Is that Possible? I really don't want to sit here and go through each one it will take me days.

  DVR Hard Drive Reset NOTE *** This will delete all stored shows on the Hard Drive! Press Cable, Power off, OK/Select, to bring up the Diagnostics Page 3. With diagnostics page showing press Replay (15-sec rewind), My DVR, My DVR, My DVR, Live. 4. Your DVR should now show "Clr" in the LED display. 5. Press OK/Select to proceed with the reset (and presumably Exit to cancel). 6. The DVR should now reformat the HD & then perform a reset and begin to reload your Cable settings and Time Settings from the Head End. It will then begin to populate the Guide data over the next 2 - 24 hours.
