New Comcast DVR Help?

Need Help. Comcast DVR button?

• I recorded some episodes of a show that i watch but i can't get to them. I have two remotes (one's a spare) and they both work perfectly fine. But when I push the my DVR button on both, then nothing happens. Is there another way to view these

• Answer:

  1. Go to your DVR and turn it on. Now with remote in hand and press Power>Cable>Select/OK. Gotta do that pretty quick! Wait for the diagnostic menu to appear on your TV. 2. Scroll down to Connected/Home and press Select/OK. To the right you should see all of the IP addresses that belong to the other HD terminals you have connected in your house. 1 IP per terminal and 1 IP for the HD DVR. ex. 192.168.1.100 etc... etc... 3. Now that we've verified the boxes have an IP address press the power button on the remote to exit the diagnostic menu. Now if you don't see the other IP's don't worry just continue with my instructions. 4. Turn the DVR back on and leave it on. 5. Turn off and then unplug your HD terminal. Wait 30 seconds to a minute and plug it back in. 6. Wait for the data light on the front of the box to go solid(no more blinking,flashing,etc...) 7. Turn on the HD terminal and again, wait for the data light on the front of the box to go solid(no more blinking,flashing,etc...) 8. Now press the MyDVR button and you should see the list of shows that you've recorded on your DVR.
