Why wont my comcast cable remote work?
-
My remote worked fine until i bought a new tv and after i hooked everything up my remote wont work with the cable box like it as a weak connection, and i found out that with the tv off the remote works fine cause when i press the channel up or down i can see the channel change on the box, so how would i fix this?

Answer:
There could be some interference with the TV. Try moving your cable box to a different location and see if that fixes the problem. If it doesn't, you could try a universal remote that might not have the same interference, or get a signal repeater that will take the signal from the remote and send it to a little transmitter that you tape to the IR port on the cable box for easy detection.
