take a look at your bios. Most bios will tell you what slots hold what memeory( type and size). You can also try belarc. It does a full scan of your computer and will tell you lots of information. I'll let you find it. You could also look up on Acer's website and look for the information

open her up,it's good to clean with a vaccum while you're there.unless you have the documentation for it.

you can do what they said but its alot safer to make sure you get the right kind by just opening up the computer and poping one out and righting down the info then pop it back in. takes all of about 5 minutes
