How do I get the scanner to work on an HP Deskjet F380 with Windows Vista?

I have an HP Deskjet F380 Printer/Scanner/Copier, and Windows Vista on my computer. The printer and copier work fine, but the scanner does not. Does anyone know what I need to do to get that working?

Just download it, click on it, and it should install http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=mp-47767-1&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&product=1128296&os=2093&lang=en It's a pretty large file, about 160 MB, so it might take some time to download.

hey, in addition to what everyone else is telling you, about going and downloading the updated vista scan drivers. you may want to check your services, go to services.msc, type it in under start search when you click on the start button its right there. and check to see if your WIA, Windows Image Acquisition, is started and if it is restart it and restart computer if it isn't start it and restart computer. hope that helps a little bit, if this doesn't work give some more information and everyone will be more than willing to let the answers pour in.

Go HP website and check for updates for your printer. If you find any istall it. Probably it's incompatability problem related to Vista. Cheers, DS
