How to get scanner to work?

How do I get a driver to work the scanner on Epson CX3650 printer on Windows 7?

  • I can get the printer to work by using the 64 bit Vista driver but the driver for the scanner won't install...not compatible with the architecture...and Epson do not have the scanner driver for Windows 7.

    If Epson didn't write a Windows 7 driver, you can't use the scanner with it unless you write your own. (You could try a Windows 7 [or Vista] driver for a slightly later scanner. Sometimes the hardware interface doesn't change for a few models.)

You can use drivers for the operating system Vista with bits you want because these operating systems are compatible

First check if your printer runs 64 bit windows.Check on the Epson website.
