How to clean a computer monitor?

Hey how do u clean ur computer monitor?

  • I have a Liquid Crystal display flat 19 inch wide screen. And I know you are not suppose to put ur finger on it. My sister haves been doing it aand haves my mom! And It's looks kinda greasy, and I know it is very sensitive. Can you tell what to clean it with n what not to clean it with.

  • Answer:

Most computer monitors respond very well to being cleaned with standard Windex or windex clone, as long as it doesn't contain ammonia. Don't spray it directly on the monitor, rather spray it onto a soft lint-free cleaning cloth and then wipe the monitor with that.

Other answers

do not use anything on it except a soft tissue with just a drop of water...not to damp....your monitor has a coating and using something like windex will run this coating. Get a tissue, dampen it ever so slightly and clean... nothing more than this....

Use the Liquid Crital

Charlie The Unicorn

first make sure the monitor is off then use a mixture of 50% water and 50% denatured alcohol ( not rubbing alcohol as it contains oils ) then spray it on a soft lint free rag and gently wipe the screen dont make the rag to damp
