Why does my computer give me a headache?

Employer Wont Give Me Anti Glare Screen?

  • Ok. I have this headache brought on by working at this computer. Work wont give me a anti glare screen, apparently the guy who gives them out isn't in. I'm in pain. I can't go home I need the money. Aren't they obliged to give me one? I have good eyesight and no problems, I've had a recent eye exam to confirm this. My head only hurts at and after using the computer. I have asked many times now and I'm told that 'theyll deal with it when they can' I adhere to the DSE policy so why can't they provide me with one?

  • Answer:

    1. turn the monitor left or right to reduce glare 2. place a piece of cardboard accross the top of the monitor to reduce glare from above 3. no they are not obligated to provide an anti glare screen. they should - but are not obligated

Its really unfortunate that u r not able to get one... for the time being you can reduce the brightness and contrast level of your monitor... and ask em for the same tommorow...

You can get a cover for the screen to reduce glare, it is like a section of polarised plastic which is fitted over the screen, it would cost you about $20 at any pc shop.
