3D films THROUGH laptop to TV?

  • Hi. I was wondering if I got a seperate external 3D rom drive for my normal laptop, and then connected the laptop to the 3D tv, would I be able to see the propper 3D film? I knwo the film wouldn't work on my normal laptop because although the 3D rom is exactly that (a 3D rom) the laptop its self isn't 3D. But, if I connect the 3D rom, would the picture go through the normal laptop to the 3D TV and I'll be able to see the propper film? So the laptop would be blury but the TV would be good. Does it work like this? Thanks

    This depends on the hardware on board your laptop. It is possible but older models will contain hardware that is not capable of passing the 3D polarized signals to the television.
