Problem encountered when reinstalling Windows XP?
-
I had to reinstall windows XP home edition recently. It advised that unless I wanted to overwrite the MY documents folder, it would be better to actually install the new version into a new directory, which I did. It works well, but it didn't advise me that my WAB, or my address book which is part of Outlook express would be overwritten. I can't seem to find my old addresses? Are they hiding somewhere???

Answer:
check application data, go to your main hard drive, usually local disk C:\ documents and settings, <your old user name that has addresses>, application data and check there for outlook express. C:\Documents and Settings\login\Application Data mine looks like this(except login is changed)
