I just reinstalled windows xp i now i have to download drivers for wireless card and unknown device?

download belarc advisor its free it tells you all you need to know about your pc includ vidio drivers make & revision numbers or you could download uniblue driver updater & it update x amount of drivers on the trial version all you do is pick the drivers you need

What is the make and model of your pc, I will try and find them for you. If you find and install them ok, follow my advice in the link below, then you will always have a driver disk ready for after reinstallation. Are you sure you don`t already have a disc? EDIT. Won`t be able to find for unknown device, probably something unused or unnecessary. EDIT. Have you found out your exact model number yet? ibm think pad ???

Control Panel---System---Hardware(tab)---Device Manager,select which piece of hardware on the list and right click then select 'update driver',when dialogue box comes up ,select 'install auto' and it will search on-line for any available drivers.

There are probably drivers on a an installation CD that would have come with your computer. Try putting the CD in and searching there instead of online when it prompts you to look for the hardware drivers.

if you bought the pc from someone like packard bell or compaq, you can go to their site and search in the support section for your model number and install all the drivers that are on there
