Extra mic for camcorder without mic jack?

Can u help me find a good hd camcorder that has a MIC jack?

  • The hd video cameras today seem to not have a mic jack in them allowing me to attatch an external microphone. I was wondering if anyone knew of an exception and could help me out.

all professional level camcorders come with mic inputs, usually the XLR type. back in the day when consumer camcorders sold for $1200 plus, they came with mic inputs too, usually the 3.5mm stereo type. the current run of less than $100 cameras don't have features or accessories, manufacturers have decided that the consumer is not interested in them.
