Why does my Clear modem keep on restarting?

Why does my computer keep restarting?

• It just keeps restarting for some weird reason. All I want to do is make it stop restarting. I have no idea what the hell I need to do to stop this stupid computer from restarting all the time. What happens is mostly when I'm playing a computer game the screen goes black and it restarts. Its like someone pressed the button to restart the computer at a random time. Does anyone know how to stop my computer from restarting.

  1. have you ran a anti-virus and malware scan? (i'd recommend AVG free with Malware Bytes free version) 2. how warm is your room? ( i once had this problem due to computer overheating) 3. Are the cooling fans in your computer running? If your scans detect no viruses or malware then it might be an internal heat issue caused by the room being too warm, malfuntioning fans from accumulation of dust (can be cleaned with canned air) or you may need to buy another fan or 2 to put in your computer. Cheap Alternative solution: if your computer is one that you can stand on it's side while having the removal siding/cover removed. You could simply aim a fan toward the computer's opening and turn it on.
