How to print addresses on envelopes?

• Hi, need to print addresses on some envelopes, but i can't figure out what program to use. i have word, access, and excel - and other programs that come standard on a dell laptop - whatever those may be. it seems like it should be easy to figure out, but i am having a hard time. maybe someone could guide me a bit on the fastest, easiest way to accomplish this? have a laser jet with a feeder tray, anything i should know? would i be better off hand lettering the addresses? kinda messy scrawly handwriting. Thanks!

  Not all printers will print envelopes. But assuming your printer is capable you can print envelopes using Word or Access. Word is possibly the easier choice for you...just depends on how Access savvy you are. so I'll just go with Word but you do it in Access via the report wizard. Word 2003: tools, letters and mailings, mail merge, and then begin answering the questions that pop up on the right in the boxes.
