What is Uploading and Downloading in Utorrent?

UTorrent seeding/uploading?

• Yo, I've had UTorrent for a long while now, and I've gotten the basics down pretty good. But recently we found out that my download usage has a cap on it from my isp.. this includes any data transfers. Which means when I seed, it also counts as data transfer.. I want to download a movie, but my data transfer usage from my isp is only 10gb. I know the movie obviously isn't that big, but with uploading and everything, I"m afraid I might go over, which means I'd get charged by my stupid ISP. So, I was wondering if there was a way that I could stick to Utorrent for downloading things, but keep it from seeding to avoid large "data transfers". I know it's not real nice to leech, but I really dont have any other option, and I would only download movies that already have a large number or seeders anyway.. So yeah, if anyone can help, or give me the name of another downloader that can keep me from seeding, that'd be great. sorry if i sound retarded, I kinda suck wiht computers.

  I suggest you call your ISP and complain to them. With the idea of "customers first", then hopefully they heed your complaint and give you unlimited data transfer usage. With uTorrent however, you need to seed, or else your download speed won't go fast at all. The speed of your downloads depends on how much you seed back. Good luck
