Aim Help??????

I am away from aim a lot. But my friend AIM me when I'm not using AIM. Pretend I'm using something else on my PC, then aim will pop up. It's really annoying., How do I get it to stop popping up?

sign off when your not using it.or just leave that window open so a window doesnt pop up all the time

Turn it off? Or go to settings and find don't notify me when new message(or something similar, that is what it says MSN)

Be sure to log off if you dont' want to be bothered, don't just put your away message on. Or, keep an AIM window open, but minimized. yes, it'll flash when you get a new message, but at least it won't pop up. =]

when you're away at the bottom of the box that shows your away message check the box that says disable pop-up notifactations

make sure u sign off, if ur not signed off they will keep popping up, i dont think u can stop it
