If I restore iphone from backup will i lose my jailbreak?

Thanks i just plugged my iphone into the computer and it asked me if i want to restore from backup or start as new. I dont have any contacts so to restore from backup would be nice. Also i am on tmobile so its hard for me to activate my iphone. thankss

if you restore u will lose your jailbreak. but you can do it yourself if you search online.
