If I uninstall, then reinstall my iTunes, will I lose all my music?

Will doing this get rid of all of the doubles in my play list?

i Have an itunes setup up on a different user on vista and my one on other account isn't working. I plan to store the music somewhere and then uninstall itunes and reinstall it. What is the cheapest way to do this and not lose any music? It is 2.19 GB...

i recently got itunes 8 but its been giving me trouble so i want to reinstall an older version. the only way to do this is by uninstalling the one i have now. i'm scared i might lose my music and all the play counts and stuff though.
