Is the LG Voyager Good?

LG Voyager or LG Dare?

  • I am on a Verizon family plan with my parents. My dad just got a Blackberry Curve and my mom is happy with some old LG phone. Our contract is up in a month. I can cash in my new every two for $100 off a phone right now, but I can't decide if I should get a Voyager or a Dare!!! Please help. P.S. The Dare is on sale for 129.99 this holiday season. And the Voyager is on sale for 99.99 also. $100 off is $30 for the Dare or a Voyager for free.

    I have the Voyager, and my sis has the Dare. Voyager- the touch screen and QWERTY keyboard are AWESOME, but occasionally, for me, the ringtones just don't work. I don't know if that's a Voyager problem, but it happens to me. Dare - I like the fact that there is a favorites tab, it's just like speed dial for contacts. Also, there is a drawing option, which is cool. You can actually draw a number or letter to call/text someone. AND, if you take pics, you can edit the picture with stamps and drawing. Pretty neat! Money-wise, I can't help you, my parents bought the phones for me and my sis!

the dare although the voyager is nice, i don't like it's touch screen. the only thing that i like about it is it's keyboard the dare, on the other hand, is the only phone with a touch screen that actually responds RIGHT where you touch it! all other touch screen phones always mess up,, while the dare is great get the dare(:

well if you are big on texting definitely go with the voyager not just because it has a keyboard but with the dare you have to touch the screen to text and that bothers me because if you don't push it hard enough you won't get the letters. that just wouldn't work for me and i'm a huge texter. and with the dare if the touch screen breaks it's all over while with the Voyager if the touch screen breaks you have a fully functional inside. the dare is smaller but more prone to breaking and the voyager is becoming pretty much indestructible. my opinion? go for the voyager, and it's free!

I'd say the LG Dare, but don't look at other people's opinions. Go with what you're most comfortable with, go in the Verizon store & try it out yourself. See what you're most happy with.
