Is the LG Voyager from verizon wireless good?

My uncle has a old phone form his dad. It's an LG voyager, it looks cool and is in great condition. At the moment i have a LG VN9200 and it's ok but it shuts on me on random times and lags a lot. Is the voyager a good phone? My uncle is gonna give it to me anyways. I'm 15, what did you guys think of it? I hear it isn't that great /:
