How do I keep my songs on my ipod with new computer?
-
My last computer crashed, and I have an itouch with hundreds of songs on it from the itunes library on that computer. i got a new computer and downloaded iTunes, as well as some other songs, and when i connect my itouch now it asks if I want to either erase and replace those songs with the new ones (which I dont want!) or to transer only "iTunes purchased music" from the itouch to the computer. What i want is to keep the current music on the iTouch now, but add the other songs as well so they can all just be there. It says it can only be synced to one computer at a time, but when I hit Synch, nothing happens. Help, what do I do!

Here is a solution. All you need is to get all existing music/videos from your iPod back to your computer and iTunes. Simply use this handy transfer program called Tansee iPod Transfer http://www.gutensoft.com/Utilities/Tansee-iPod-Transfer.htm Many of my friends are using it for its easy and safe transfer. With just a few simple clicks, it will help you copy all videos/songs from iPod back to your selected folder on your computer, and then you can easily add those files back to iTunes. More importantly, this won't overwrite any original files on your iPod. And all song names are preserved. In this case, all songs/videos (both new and old) are on your iTunes library that you can syn with whenever you wish to without deleting any files. Here is step-by-step guide on the whole process: http://gutensoft.com/Guide/How-to-transfer-songs-and-videos-from-ipod-to-computer.htm Best luck! Hi, I recommend a very professional ipod transfer. http://www.topmediasoft.com/ipod-transfer-avcware.html With it, you can: 1: Transfer/Share iPod files from one iPod to another iPod. 2: Transfer/Backup iPod files from iPod to your computer. 3: Transfer/Backup iPod files from iPod to your iTunes. 4: Manage your iPod like a movable hard drive and transfer ipod videos/photos/music between iPod and iPod, iPod and computer/laptop, ipod and itunes.

An iPod can be synced with only one iTunes library at a time. once you got a new iTunes library or a new computer. You have to authorize your iPod to it at first, then you can upload music and video from the new iTunes to your iPod. But this way will overwrite the originial files on iPod with the new iTunes. You may try this iPod transfer, it can help you copy files from iPod to computer for backup, you can also use it as an iTunes alternative to upload music and video. It will not erase your original iPod files. It's safe and works pretty well for me. http://www.ipod-transfer-copy.com/ipod-transfer-mediawidget.html Hope it helps.
