What is the better plasma or LCD tv's? and why?

  • I am looking to buy a new tv. I am looking at a 20 or 26 inch tv? Do plasma tvs come in this size? What has the better picture quality? How much would a 20 or 26 inch tv screen for a LCD cost? Any information would help!

    At this size of tv you only have one choice and that is the LCD. Plasma tv comes in 42" up to 150", but you are not going to see any at the store bigger than a 65". Keep in mind when selecting your tv, you can not see the difference between 720P and 1080P in screen size smaller than a 46". Top brands are Panasonic, Sony, Samsung and Toshiba. Hope this will help you out.

I do not know of a 26" plasma. 42" yes. 26" or lower, no. LCD's in that size range are from under $200 to maybe $600 with $300 to $400 being average. And in that size range, unless you are viewing it from less then 4 or 5 feet, 720p is fine.
