My big screen tv is giving me a double image with pink and green neon colors, how can I fix it?

Sounds like someone was playing with a magnet. If so, it will eventually degauss itself.

Just how good are you at removing solder and applying it to 22 pins separated by only 1/16 of an inch? Can you install all 22 pins carefully when the part supplier sends you UNALIGNED pins thanks to the "MAGIC of shipping" ? Can You carefully PRY 2 Giant Integrated Circuits off a Giant Heatsink without Ripping the fragile Copper foils that connect those parts to the rest of the electronics that drive that IC? Especially when the HEATSINK Compound has Dried to the point that it acts like Cement? IT AIN'T EASY.....even for a TV TECH..... But after YEARS of practice....it's pretty much a skill I have..... And you'll need 2 Convergence ICs ($30) Heatsink compound ($10) Solder ($15), Solder Wick ( $10) and a Temperature controlled Soldering iron to protect those copper foils from overheating and disintegrating ($130)..... About $200 not including tools..... But you can do it...... And it's not hard to know which parts you need, just look inside and find the LARGEST TWO parts inside the TV set located on the LARGEST heatsinks on the board.... There's too many different types/models of convergence amps to know which ones to get....but they start with STKxxx-xxx.... Have fun busting the Convergence amps Free of the Heatsinks... I USED to take a Hammer and Chisel to them....but I found a safer way to do it.
