Which is the best LCD TV company? Whicj is better Sharp Aquos or LG Scarlet?

    Definitely go with Samsung. If you read around reviews for Plasma TVs, they are often compared against LCDs (there's always one LCD in the lineup of a good Plasma round-up/review). They don't match the good plasmas, but they are the best in the LCDs. Sharp Aquos I think is better than LG Scarlet though. Sharp Aquos panels are very high quality. Sony stopped manufacturing their LCD panels and now just buys them from Sharp. The ones used in the Aquos line are the same ones Sony buys. Not to say Sony is the greatest LCD on the market, but Sony products, even if usually overpriced, are typically quite good.

go with sony or samsung, they have the best lcd's out on the market as of right now, sony back's up there products really well, we had a 52in sony that went out 3yr's after the warranty expiered, and they came out and fixed the tv for free, and the part would have cost a little over a grand. samsung is really good to, dont have as much experiance with them but i know that 99% of the people who bought them loved em. so i say, sony or samsung

I bought a Samsung 40" LCD after weeks of shopping and comparing. Every store I went into, the Samsung TV's had the best, clearest picture. For the money, I say Samsung, but go see for yourself. A small mom and pop store will take the time to give you personal attention and show you all the differences between brands and models. I doubt you could really go wrong with any well known name brand, though.

The LG "Scarlet" 60 series has been discontinued. It was a great TV.
