Ntl v sky which is best?

  • i am an ntl customer and im sick to death of the amount of times it turns off for hours on end is sky any better?

    sky's the same, when it rains, cloudy or trees in the way you lose your picture. And to think they are getting rid of analogue..................!

I have NTL as I couldnt get Sky due to no line of sight! Really wish I did have sky as ntl doesnt have as many channels included as sky including sky 1. Sky is cheaper as well.

i am a NTL customer and my brother has SKY we both get prombles so i would say they are the same

NTL...have now been taken over by Virgin...Or at least London has. NTL were a nightmare, the outfit before them...Videotron - were even worse...However, it is now official that VIRGIN are worse than both of them put together. My screen freezes at least 10 times a night, the box doesnt indicates that I have changed channel, but it has not, try phoning them....truely a nightmare, and after my bill started rising from 45.00 per month to 62.90 a month, they told me that I was being charged for a high rate service as I didnt have the phone service from them....when I stated that they VIRGIN have no phone service in my area, and the fact that I had no sky movies at all for 2 weeks, I have now been assured that my next bill will be £102 in credit....Great....credit for a crap service. I would go with sky, but the dish cant go over the block of flats directly in front of my building so can get a signal.

sky definetly and regards to upc bought ntl and chorus so next year both companies will be renamed to upc
