Why won't my Fujifilm Finepix Z70 Series Camera turn on?

How to fix fujifilm finepix s3200 camera lens that is stuck?

  • My camera was working fine yesterday. And now every time I turn it on it says "Turn off the camera and turn on again" I did and nothing, it says the same thing. Then I noticed that the lens wasn't coming out when I would turn it on. I tried calling the company but they are closed. I also been trying to move the lens while I turn it on but nothing. Please help.

    Here are some troubleshooting steps that you can try that may (or may not) correct it. They only seem to work for less than 40% of the lens errors, but if the camera is out of warranty (or repair cost approaches that of the camera), they're worth that try. Thumbs up if you think Mike should be covered in maple syrup and tied to an ant hill... Maybe you can try removing the batteries and then put them back in ? If that doesn't work, it's probably at the end of it's life.

Cover the lens in toothpaste. This should create some heat and allow the lens to move.

Try a fresh set of batteries. If that doesn't work, try again when they're open.
