Strange noise from corsa engine... HELP!!?
-
Recently my 53 reg Vauxhall Corsa SXI has been making a weird noise from the engine. Sounds like a loud ticking but when I put my foot on the clutch it stops... and then as soon as I put my foot back on the accelator it starts up again. Anyone have the same problem or any idea what it could be?

Answer:
Sounds like the clutch facing of your car is going kaput, since cluth plate and cluth facing sit in the same place, and you have noted that it stops when you engage the clutch. Take it to your local mech to get a more detailed outlook. Since clutch is an integral part of our car, which controls the power delivery of the engine, you may want to give it a look before some big issues kicks in.. Hope this helps!!! Cheers!!
