Overheating 1996 Honda Accord?

My 1996 honda accord brakes question?

  • My 1996 honda accord ex was sitting in garage for 3 years. Since I bought accord in 2006, I never drove that one, today I started after jump and it worked. However, when I drove it, the brakes are very rigid, infact the make a wobble, I was scared and I put it back in garage. My question is: last time i drove, it was very smooth, what should I do to brake to make them smooth? does engine oil has anything to do with brakes? it has almost no oil left, I am planning to get some tomorrow and put it in, will that make any difference? what I really want is it to sell it, I am looking for $1000, which is the best way to get it done?

  • Answer:

Oil has NOTHING to do with the brakes. If they were good before, they probably just have some surface rust on the disks. Drive it a little further and see if it clears up.
